Remembering one simple fact combats overwhelm and procrastination
Sometimes I feel like I’ll never have enough time to get everything I want done. There are so many opportunities and fun things to do, I just can’t seem to fit them all in. When I’m feeling overwhelmed I remember a simple fact – ten minutes of focused action is enough to get an amazing amount done.
Couple that with consistency and you become damn near unstoppable.
Ten minutes of guitar practice a day, ten minutes of Spanish, ten minutes of push ups and sit-ups – all would develop usefully and quickly.
Heck, I drafted this article in less than ten minutes.
Don’t be afraid to start. You don’t need to do everything all at once. Ten minutes is enough.
And if you can’t do ten minutes? Maybe you shouldn’t do it at all.
